Hindley Town Boys & Girls F.C. Club History

The Famous Red and Black hooped shirts are now our club trademark and the colours are becoming known all over Lancashire. The Red and Black colours are famous with the Town of Hindley. The Red comes from the Red rose of Lancashire and the Black comes from the Black Diamonds (Coal) associated with the mining area.

The Hind (young deer) in the badge comes from the Hind which roamed the meadows (Ley) around Hindley. The Blue lines in the badge represent Borsdane Brook which runs through Hindley. The Latin word Prodesse means to advance or go forward.
